Deficient wiring in 609
Slow internet in 609
- Need to avoid conflict over wiring. Ty and Alex have done lots of work on wiring, there help will be invaluable
- Make a proposal to the house regarding 609 wiring
- Notify people in advance
Long term
- Find a better location for the switch in 609. Possibly run cable up the chimney?
Short term
- Put the switch in a protected box
- Replace the switch
- Put drip loops on the wires
Server computer
- Pete is leaving in two weeks, so this will get setup by then
- In a month, if we keep the Shaw service, we can start hosting campcoop.com email addresses
Wireless access points
- Marcella has proposed the house purchase two wireless access points, one for each house. They should cost $65 each from tiger direct
- If we have two access points, can we roam from one to the other?
- Where should they be located?
